I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on top of the hill. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The apartment was lovely, meticulously cleaned, and fully furnished. I had everything I needed, including a kitchen facility that made it feel like a cozy studio flat. The attention to detail was evident, even in the delicious hand made cakes included in the breakfast. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding villages and Matera.

The location was perfect for us, as it was just a short walk away from the main square and all the festivities. The room was a bit simple and could have used some more storage options, but we managed fine. the lack of air conditioning made it a bit warm at times, but we were able to keep cool by opening the balcony door and using the mosquito netting.
